BIRA was born in 2017 from the search for the family roots of its two partners and friends, both linked to Italy. With a preference for the wines of the peninsula, they decide to look for old vineyards in the Uco Valley and produce red wines of unusual blends for Argentina, as well as whites with that influence. Very limited production and focus on quality and consistency.
A founding partner of BIRA since 2017, Santiago holds a degree in Business Administration.
He led commercial areas of local wineries and international groups, managed wineries and even founded a winery in Patagonia.
Today his goal is to position BIRA in the main wine export markets for Argentina, while continuing to develop the brands in the domestic market. He currently lives in Buenos Aires.
